About this project
Originally used for business storage, the basement was repurposed into a space for the clients’ children. After clearing the area, Dan and the Arts Unlimited team discovered significant water intrusion, requiring full interior waterproofing.
With the issue resolved, they constructed a custom home theatre, carefully addressing soundproofing challenges posed by limited ceiling height through reworked ductwork, relocated bulkheads, and specialized materials.
The project also featured a hidden private room concealed behind a floating bookshelf.
